Accessibility Design

Buildings, shops and other work locations must legally comply with specific accessibility standards. Decree-Law no. 163/2016 in “Regulamento Geral das Edificações Urbanas” (General Regulations for Urban Edifices) stipulates accessibility rules and conditions to be complied with by buildings or interior or exterior spaces.

By law, residential buildings, commercial and industrial spaces or other work locations must comply with specific accessibility standards for persons with reduced mobility. To comply with specific accessibility standards, Konceptness will prepare an accessibility design for your complex. That is, it lays out a strategy allowing all persons, regardless of their motor capabilities, to access all the essential areas of a space.
