Konceptness has an innovative training program certified for BIM – Building Information Modeling, for which it joined Stratbim® to train architects, engineers and technicians working in a project’s various specialized fields. DESCRIPTION

The Autodesk Revit Architecture software is a three-dimensional parametric modelling tool for architecture. The tool is used for modelling according to the BIM methodology and can be used to centralize an entire project in a single model, ranging from architecture to the specialized fields necessary for the building in question. All modelling aspects and the use of parametric information provides an overall alignment between all parts of a model, permitting automatic alterations to the entire project quickly while minimizing design errors.

OBJECTIVES

In this course, trainees will become qualified to prepare architecture and construction projects in a 3D environment and to visualize and alter the model and its comprising parts. The course consists of an introductory theoretical part and a project to be completed during the course.

In this course, trainees will learn how to skillfully use the software application to prepare models and to manage the respective information. The course consists of an introductory theoretical part and various Use Cases for practical application of the respective subject content.

PREREQUISITES

Good knowledge of the Windows operating system. Applicants must have taken the course for Autodesk Revit Architecture – Beginner or similar skills.

In this course, trainees will become qualified to prepare network projects (MEP – Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing) in a 3D environment using the Autodesk Revit® tool and will learn to visualize and alter the model and its comprising parts. Models will be built during the course as a means of applying all acquired knowledge.

Autodesk Navisworks software is a program for the AEC – Architecture, Engineering and Construction – industry for managing projects based on BIM models. This application allows designers to render the various disciplines compatible, thus foreseeing any errors that may arise in the design stage.

The program can be used to coordinate models of the various disciplines, to detect interferences among them, to extract quantities and for construction planning.

This tool is ideal for those who prepare BIM models and wish to have greater control over the whole project in all its aspects, thus guaranteeing greater optimization of resources.

In this course, trainees will become qualified to review the project, coordinate elements, detect collisions between models and to quantify amounts based on an already existing model.

OBJECTIVES

– Concepts and initial configurations;

– BIM (3D, 4D, 5D) dimensions applied to Navisworks;

– Navisworks versions and native files;

– Importing of models into Navisworks and creating a Federated Model (or coordinated model);

– Interoperability and workflow with Revit;

– Visualization, navigation and selection of objects;

– Reviewing the Federated Model;

– Collision Detection (tests, analysis and solution) by creating automatic reports;

– Construction planning and simulation (Timeliner).
